The course aims at the analysis and discussion of the current developments of the
main forms of
governments in Europe and in the rest of the world.
The course deals with the current developments of the main forms of government in
Europe, America, and the rest of the world. Classes will be focused on the role of
the executive power, the nature and prerogatives of the Head of State, the
Constitutional jurisdiction and the protection of rights, the territorial structure
(federalism, regionalism), with particular attention to the most recent doctrinal
contributions.
Materials will be made available during classes or students may provide them on the professor's web site.
