Obiettivi del corso

This course provides an in-depth discussion of fundamental principles related to corporate
finance. The main objectives of this class include understanding a) how to value a project, b) how
securities are priced c) how to finance a project.
Though we consider the viewpoint of corporate investment professionals, the primary focus in
this course centres on personal financial decisions. Therefore, as we move through the material
in this course, it's a good idea to ask yourself, "How would the material covered in this class
affect my real-world investment decisions?"

Metodi didattici
  • Lectures, practical exercises and case studies
Modalità di valutazione
  • The final score relative to the course will be calculated as follows:
    1) A final written exam that will account for 70% (made up of open questions, multiple choices and exercises)
    2) A Final project realised by working in a team that will account for 30%

    Students that do not attend class will be evaluated based only on the final written exam.

    The Final exam is a close book exam and it will aim to assess the student's knowledge with open questions, a few multiple choices and the ability to apply their knowledge will be verified with numerical exercises.
