Federica Monti was educated between Italy, University of Macerata, and China, East China University of Political Science and Law. In 2013 she gained her Ph.D. in Chinese Law at University of Rome Tor Vergata University. Currently she is working as adjunct professor of Chinese Commercial Law and as Expert & Exam committee member of Business law at University of Macerata. By professional side she is business lawyer and she acts as advisor for Italian and Chinese enterprises in their business investment operations. She was invited to several national and international conferences. In 2007 she published a monograph, titled “Diritto societario cinese” and she is the author of several academic articles and chapters on books on Chinese legal system. Her main field of research there are: Chinese market and its economic development; Foreign Direct Investment to China (FDI) and Chinese outbound investments (OFDI); Juridical concept of entrepreneurship and the function of corporate capital under laws (comparison between EU-China experiences); Chinese healthcare system & E-health development; Chinese environment legal framework; China: Aging e urbanization. She also works in team for the translation (from Chinese language to Italian language) of the main laws in business and corporate field. She can speak Chinese mandarin and English.
