A background in commercial law could be helpful, but it's not required .
The course will be held in English language, therefore good English skills must be
intended as mandatory.

Le lezioni saranno tenute in lingua inglese pertanto una buona comprensione della
lingua inglese (ascolto&lettura) è da considerarsi un requisito essenziale.
The aim of the course is to provide a solid understanding of the Chinese
commercial law institutions, in their contemporary dimension, and convey to the
student the methodological tools to approach the different themes that make up
trade matter in the People's Republic of China with the purpose of shaping cross-
border professionals (business managers, consultants, and so on) active both in
Chinese and European market.
Lo scopo del corso è di fornire una solida conoscenza delle istituzioni del diritto
commerciale cinese, nella loro dimensione contemporanea, e di trasmettere gli
strumenti metodologici di approfondimento dei diversi temi che compongono la
materia commercialistica della Repubblica Popolare Cinese ai fini della
formazione di figure professionali cross-border (manager d'azienda, consulenti)
attive nel mercato cinese ed in quello europeo.

The course will mainly consist of 'active' lectures (also with the presentation of
slides, for a greater focus on the student), divided into various modules / parts of
the program. With particular reference to certain issues, will be dealt with the
analysis of case studies and / or regulatory texts, useful for the student to a
better understanding of the subject.
Il corso si articolerà prevalentemente in lezioni frontali 'di stimolo' (con
proiezione di slides per una maggiore attenzione dello studente), suddivise nei
diversi moduli/parti di programma. Con particolare riferimento ad alcune
tematiche, verrà affrontata l'analisi di casi di studio e/o testi normativi utili allo
studente per una migliore comprensione della materia.
- Oral exam & Class Participation (90% + 10%)
Student participation is to be intended as an important component of the course,
which will count 10% on the total assessment. Students are expected to come to
class prepared, and willing to discuss the readings, cases and class exercises.
Esame orale & Frequenza e partecipazione attiva
La frequenza avrà un peso del 10% sulla valutazione complessiva. Sarà fortemente
apprezzato lo studente che parteciperà attivamente alle lezioni.
