METHODOLOGY
Task-Based Language Teaching
The Lexical Approach
- ASSESSMENT:
1) There will be a comprehension test in which candidates have to watch a 3-5 minute video-clip based on one of the topics covered in the course. Candidates have to watch it and write a summary of 200-300 words.
2) Development Aid Project (OPTIONAL)
In order to gain additional points, students may submit an extended piece of writing which might also become a PowerPoint presentation. Each group of students (approx. 6 members) will draw up an original 1000-word DEVELOPMENT AID project stating:
. the objective (building a school, setting up a training programme, improving women's condition through selected activities, etc.)
. the geographical place and the local beneficiary community
. the promotional and practical activities that are envisaged
. the implementation schedule
. how funds will be raised
. the expected benefits
