She is Associate Professor in Economic Policy at the University of Macerata where she teaches European Economic Policy (Bachelor level), Economic of Innovation (MSc) and Fundamental for SAM and CGE (PhD courses).

She obtained the National Academic Qualification for Full Professor in the domain of Economic Policy.

She obtained her MSc in Economics from the Polytechnic University of Marche, her Master’s Degree in Economics from the Consortium for Research and Continuing Education in Economics of Torino and her PhD in Economics from the Polytechnic University of Marche.

She is currently a member of the research team cooperating with the Italian Ministry of Economic and Finance for the development of a multiregional CGE model (MACGEM-IT) for the simulation of the Italian economic policy especially for the compliance with EU stability and growth pact.

She collaborated with the research team of FAO for the construction of “SAM for Syria”, financed by FAO, and the simulation of Food Security and Poverty reduction policies.

She collaborated with the ISMEA in developing the CGE model for the analysis of the policy of reform of the European Policy on Agriculture and Cohesion and its impacts on the income distribution for the Italian economy.

Areas of Research

Her research activity mainly pertains to the Input Output and the General Equilibrium analysis and it is carried out through the construction of models, database and policy scenarios according to the aim of the research.  
Her publications lie on:
- the development of multisectoral methodology especially as regard to the application of the Macro Multipliers and the integration of CGE modelling within the multisectoral framework;
- the impact analysis of policy scenarios through the construction of the Social Accounting Matrix and the implementation of the extended multisectoral models and/or the CGE models.

In particular, her researches focus on the impact analysis of fiscal policy, environmental policy, monetary policy, gender policy and disaster analysis.
