Chiara Calamanti (B.Sc. 2012, M.Sc. 2014, Ph.D. 2019) is a researcher Postdoc at the Department of Political Sciences, Communication and International Relations of the University of Macerata.

In 2014, She graduated in Electronic Engineering at Polytechnic University of Marche (Ancona, Italy) with a thesis entitled: " Native human knee kinematics: an analysis based on in vitro experimental tests " in cooperation with " Ecole Polytechnique de Bruxelles" (Bruxelles, Belgium) where in 2014 she was hosted.

In March 2019, she obtained a European Ph.D. in Information Engineering from Università Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona, Italy) with a thesis entitled “ Development of a new medical device to detect the endothelial dysfunction ” (Advisor Prof. Emanuele Frontoni) in partnership with Strumedical srl. During her Ph.D. she was hosted at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Lund University (Lund, Sweden) in 2018. From March 2020 to 2021, Chiara was Postdoc at the Department of Information Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Marche, Ancona (Italy).

Chiara is currently a Postdoc at the Department of Political Sciences, Communication, and International Relations of the University of Macerata (Macerata, Italy), she is a project manager for several projects.
