As you might have no familiarity with the specific administrative procedures linked to the examinations at UniMC, we summarise them here below. You can find them in an extended version in the “University student career” section linked above.
For sitting for the exam, you must be fully registered for the LLB programme IECoLS. On the contrary, the system neither allows you to book nor enables the examiner to record your exam. “Fully registered” means that you submitted all the required documents AND paid fees and taxes. N.B.: The fact that you have a valid Italian visa IS NOT by itself sufficient for having you registered: you must enrol in the course. In case of any doubts about your situation, please refer immediately to the 'Segreteria studenti'.
The type of exam (oral, written, combined) is different from one course to another. You must check the webpage of the course. You find the links to all the relevant web pages in the section: 'Programme curriculum, syllabi and scheduled seminars' of the iecols.unimc.it website.
On the linked page, you find the complete syllabus for the course and the relevant information on the exam. Please read it very carefully. Be advised that the exam questions may cover the entire scope of topics included in the syllabus. The syllabus encompasses a list of materials to be studied. The instructor may suggest more materials during the classes. Note that the Italian grading system has as maximum note ‘30 e lode’. The minimum passing note is 18/30.
Before booking for the first exam, you must compilate your personal study plan, following these instructions:
1. Open the page: https://studenti.unimc.it/Home.do
2. login with your @unimc.it credentials (user id and password), and select ENG in the MENU (up-right);
3. Open HOME section, select STUDY PLAN and fill each COURSE YEAR with related teaching activities complying with programme curriculum stated on the page https://www.unimc.it/en/iecols/programme-curriculum
Once compiled your personal study plan, you can book for the exams. For each exam, you must follow the following procedure:
1. Open the page: https://studenti.unimc.it/Home.do
2. login with your @unimc.it credentials (user id and password), and select ENG in the MENU (up-right);
3. open the section EXAM DATES and select the relevant exam. Please be reminded that you can sign up for the exam only 8 days before the scheduled date until two days before.
