Based on the resolution adopted by the Department of Political Sciences, Communication and International Relations - according to which the exams of the courses taught during the first semester will be carried out remotely (http://spocri.unimc.it/it/site-news/procedura-esami-di-profitto-a-distanza) - the exams of Quantitative Methods for Economics scheduled for the summer/autumn session of the academic year 2020/2021 will be conducted online. Students can book their exams (or cancel their exam reservations) up to 3 days before the scheduled exam date.
Students' learning achievements will be assessed through a written exam composed of open questions and problems to be solved with explanations.
It is also confirmed that students who have recorded attendance of at least 80% of the classes have the option to undertake the final exam in the form of a seminar in which they illustrate (in max. 30 minutes via a 15- to 20-page PowerPoint presentation) goals, methodology, analysis, and final results of their research.
Once reservations are closed, the teacher will send a message with organisational and technical details on examinations to University email of all students who booked for the exam through the online reservation system (ESSE3).
For students to be examined through a written assignment, the teacher will also provide an opportunity to practice with a simulation in order to get familiar with practical aspects of the exam. The simulation will occur the day before the exam.
