The Laboratory aims to provide students with the ability to recognise the different types of legal texts in the field of private law; to orient themselves in the different types of legal texts, quickly identifying the information that is important for understanding the text; to understand the meaning of the main juridical terms and to form a basic vocabulary; to understand the meaning of the text and to apply the knowledge when reading legal texts.
The Laboratory aims to provide students with the ability to recognise the different types of legal texts in the field of private law; to orient themselves in the different types of legal texts, quickly identifying the information that is important for understanding the text; to understand the meaning of the main juridical terms and to form a basic vocabulary; to understand the meaning of the text and to apply the knowledge when reading legal texts.
The laboratory will focus on relations and differences between dispositions, facts and norms; principles and general clauses; legal rules; sources of law; interpretation of law; differences between facts and acts; the concept of legal system; general introduction to private law; the concept of legal capacity and capacity to act.

3. Instrumentation adopted: use of multimedia supports in the classroom - pc, slides and other materials.
The assessment of the acquisition of the skills related to the reading comprehension will take place, once the remedial course has been attended in its entirety, through the completion of an online assessment/self-evaluation questionnaire. Specifically, the student will be provided with reading material, and some multiple-choice questions relating to its content. In the case of incorrect answers, the student will be provided with useful indications for further study, without prejudice to the possibility for the student to talk to the teachers for more personalised advice.
N.B.: as the Laboratory of reading comprehension course for the IECoLS program is jointly held by more professors, there will be only one final examination including the topics of all the three modules offered by the aforementioned professors.
