At the end of the course students will be able to:
· Identify basic principles of instructional design practice
· Apply instructional strategies to technology-enhanced learning environments
· Design technology-enhanced learning experiences
The course presents principles, processes, and praxis of the design process with the support of technologies in a reflective, participatory and research perspective also taking into account the learner analysis and the evaluation phase.
Specifically course content deals with: (1) instructional design processes and strategies; (2) technology-enhanced learning experiences in distance and blended contexts; (3) using and designing audio-video, visual and graphic resources.

The course addresses the disciplinary content on : (1) a theoretical and historical level ;(2) on a praxeological level (3) an axiological level encouraging a reflective and research posture.
Didactics is organized in frontal classes, discussions and hands-on group activities. The professor will use available classroom facilities (pc, projector) and online institutional environments.
The final exam (2 hours) consists in a written test with open questions and will be in English language. The exam aims at assessing the achievement of the learning objectives in terms of :
- theoretical knowldege (50% of the whole assessment);
- critical and reflective abilities (50% of the whole assessment).
