The course requires the student to be familiar with business law and EU law institutions.
The aim of the workshop is to provide students with a general knowledge of antitrust law, together with the ability to conduct research and critical analysis in this area of law. More specifically, at the end of the workshop, students are expected to have a good knowledge of the relevant legal framework and case law; they are also expected to critically analyze selected topics and to develop legal arguments thereto.

The workshop, in English, consists of introductory lectures (which provide an overview of the relevant economic policy and legal background) and seminars (which focus on selected topics and provide an opportunity for an in-depth discussion of the law and policy).
- A written examination in class on a case study. The students should clearly illustrate the topic, the relevant legal issues, the main doctrinal and judicial views, and their opinion on the subject matter. The essay will be evaluated based on: a) knowledge and understanding (from 0/30 to 10/30); b) applying knowledge and understanding (from 0/30 to 5/30); c) making personal judgments (from 0/30 to 10/30); communication skills (from 0/30 to 5/30).
