By the end of this course, students should be able to prepare a Company Profile of an imaginary firm which includes the following:
Introduction
Name of the company, contact details etc.
Overview: vision and mission
Goals and objectives; modal verbs; the future for strategic objectives; present tenses for operational objectives. Past tenses for the story so far.
Products & Services: problems and solutions
Present tenses; conditional sentences; imperatives.
The Team
Adjectives and present tenses for describing people and their roles.
Call to Action
Imperatives; modal verbs for promises and consequences; conditional sentences
Company Profiles
Q&A: Giving & Obtaining Personal Information
The Alphabet / Email Symbols etc.

In groups of 3-5 people, students have to prepare and present a PowerPoint presentation of a Company Profile which includes (i) Introduction (name of the company, contact details etc.); (ii) Overview: Vision and Mission (goals and objectives; the story so far); (iii) Products and/or Services (in terms of problems and solutions); (iv) The Team (key staff and their roles); (v) Call to Action (promises and consequences).
Every candidate should be able to explain how the company works, what it produces, the services it provides, the date of its foundation, the story of its development, its plans for the future, its telephone number, website and email address. Therefore, all candidates must know how to pronounce the alphabet in English, as well as dates, prices, numbers, times, countries, nationalities and languages.

Criteria: 5 points=excellent; 4=good; 3=acceptable; 2=poor; 1=weak; 0=insufficient sample of language
Pronunciation and fluency - 0-5 points - (16.5%)
