  • 18 maggio 2021 Online exams

    These are the information for the students that will have their exam online. First of all you have to indicate when you enroll that you want to have the exam online, as the department information says.

    The exam will take place on my the personal Teams (https://teams.microsoft.com/l/team/19%3a7b23d677f8fe494b8347bfc67c349892%40thread.tacv2/conversations?groupId=ad1925f6-e7d3-423e-8a2c-bf3ab84c6826&tenantId=1aceb148-a22a-49fb-b0f8-18319c256a74)

    For both the written part and the oral one, at the scheduled time of the exam, students have to be in the channel named Esami. Prior to the start of the exam, they will be asked to identify themselves with a ID document (Libretto universitario is the best). Make sure you have a personal device (laptop is the best solution), a camera, a smartphone (to take and send pictures), a microphone, the libretto universitario or an identity document, 2 white sheets of paper, a pen and a reliable web connection.

     

    THE WRITTEN PART will have these parts:

    A-  A listening comprehension exercise
    B-  Multiple choice exercises about grammar and lexis
    C-  A written comprehension test
    D-  Exercises where the students have to complete sentences to verify their competence in using some linguistic structures
    E-  Exercises where the student has to identify and correct mistakes
    F-  Short essay about a given topic

     

    The exam paper with the questions will be shared through google drive with a link I will send you. During the exam students are allowed to have just the exam file on their screen. Student have to write their answers using a pen and a white paper sheet (preferably lined one). Upon completion of the task, students have to write their name, their enrolment number at the top on the sheet with answers, sign it and send it with a photo by mail to the teacher. Preferably the student should convert the file into PDF before sending with applications such CAMSCANNER.

    Write the summary and the exercise on physical sheets of paper (preferably lined ones) in readable hand-writing using a black-ink pen. Write your name, surname and university enrolment number at the top.

     

    The written exam lasts 2 hours. The student will have 1 hour to finish and send the A, B and C parts; 1 hour to finish and send the D, E and F parts.There will be a break between the 2 parts.

    During the exam, the student is allowed to have on the computer screen only the tab of the exam. The use of dictionaries, books and other online or paper resources is forbidden. During the exam, the students have to leave their microphone and camera on, if the teacher asks, they have to share their screen.

    To be admitted to the oral part the student has to reach at least 18 on 30 on the written part. The written paper results will be published on Prof. Magnatti webpage by beginning of the oral part.

    THE ORAL PART for the attending students will be a dissertation about one of the cultural topics of the book and there will be questions about the things we discuss during the course. Non attending students are invited to contact the lecturer.

    Dear Students,

    Due to the pandemic, the exams will be online only.

    To sit the exam, students are required to sign up online at https://www.unimc.it/it/servizi/iscrizioni-esami-e-libretto-on-line. They can do so from 15 up to 3 days BEFORE the exam date. After that, the system will no longer allow them to sign up for the exam.

    The exam will take place on Zoom.

  • 06 marzo 2020 Suspension of the classes at the University: the classes will be online

    During the suspension of the lessons at the university linked to the situation of the contagion the classes will take place online. We will use OLAT. The direct link to the course is this:

    To get into the platform you have to use the User name and PAsword that you use to inscribe for exams.

    From March 9th up to the end of this situation every week, on Monday and on Wednesday I will upload online classes (videos, audios, power points and so on). You don’t have to access the platform during a settled time, you can attend the course whenever you want. Anyway I reccomend you to follow the online activities.

  • 06 marzo 2020 Sospensione della didattica in presenza: lezioni online

    Durante la sospensione delle attività didattiche in presenza le lezioni saranno online, usando la piattaforma OLAT. Il link diretto al corso è questo: https://online.unimc.it/url/RepositoryEntry/32112728

    Dal 9 marzo fino alla riapertura dell'Ateneo il lunedì e il mercoledì, i normali giorni di lezione, caricherò le lezioni sulla piattaforma. Non è necessario vedere le lezioni in diretta, potete fare le attività nel momento per voi più comodo. In ogni caso vi consiglio vivamente di seguire le lezioni online perché sostituiscono quelle in presenza.

  • 13 febbraio 2020 Inizio lezioni

    Il corso inizierà lunedì 17 alle 18:00  in Aula 3.

    Le lezioni saranno il Lunedì dalle 18:00 alle 20:00 e il Mercoledì dalle 16:00 alle 18:00.

    The classes will take place on Monday form 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday form 4 to 6 pm.
