PhD in Linguistics at UNIMC, adjunct professor of linguistic disciplines at the University of Macerata - also serving as thesis supervisor to undergraduate students and providing them with academic and research counseling -, she is Nominated Fellow at IASH of the University of Edinburgh (term: June-August 2026).

Former Research Fellow at the University of Macerata and at the University of Udine working at different projects supported by the Ministry of University and Research, titled "Corpora, Terminology and Electronic Storage" on specialized lexicons and metalanguages (Macerata Univ. team of Research, a.y. 2004-2005); "SCRIBE - Short writings: Linguistic simplification, social inclusion: models and applications" (Macerata Univ. team of Research, a.y. 2013-2014); "Linguistic Contact: models, applications, predictability" (Udine Univ. team of Research, a.y. 2019-2020); "Univers-Ita. University students' written language: analysis and evaluation of the interference determined by spontaneous writing" (2020-21), "Digital short writings for the simplification of special languages" (SSD: L-LIN/01, Historic and General Linguistics - PNRR ECS00000041 “Innovation, digitalisation and sustainability for the diffused economy in Central Italy”).

Main research interests are: Media Linguistics, Literacy and e-Literacy, Interlinguistics, Historiography of Linguistics, History of linguistic thought.
