My education took place at the University of Macerata during a period in which particular emphasis was placed on phenomenology and philosophical hermeneutics, alongside the study of the “classical” philosophical traditions. After being awarded a scholarship for a PhD in Philosophy and Human Sciences at the University of Perugia, I completed my research on French philosophers such as Paul Ricoeur, F.P.G. Maine de Biran, Jean Nabert, Jean-Louis Chrétien, Jean-Luc Marion, Michel Henry, René Le Senne, and Louis Lavelle, making this field my primary area of specialization. I currently collaborate with the Italian philosophical community and have participated in research projects with philosophical communities in Canada (Montreal – McGill University and the Université de Montréal), Belgium (Louvain-la-Neuve), and France (Paris, Nice, Lille, and Lyon).Alongside my ongoing research in phenomenology and hermeneutics, in recent years I have also worked on the philosophy of religion and interreligious dialogue, and, more recently, on the possibility of conceiving the ethos of Europe as a translated political and cultural identity.
